KingTone pedals

Placed an order for The Duellist and the Mini Fuzz V2, anyone else using these in their rig or has tested them?
No I haven't but I listened to pretty much every demo out there on the Duellist and Gladio when I was shopping last year and ultimately went with the Gladio, which @griff10672 fabbed up a clone for me and quite a bit nicer than the factory unit for ease of use I might add. The Duellist seems like a great pedal. Please lemme know how it works out for you. I know Kirk Fletcher is a big fan of it.

I listened thru *many* Youtube demos of both pedals as well and as soon as I saw tgt11.com’s facebook update about them getting both pedals in stock I placed an order immediately. Seems like they are now in a DHL terminal in Stockholm so most likely will be here on Monday/Tuesday.

the duellist is great. i gauge it by the same standard as any tube screamer i check out; does it stevie?
yes it does and the builder is a devoted SRV disciple so it makes sense.

not familiar with the fuzz.

Kingtone makes a bunch of SRV and blues oriented pedals that are all pretty nice sounding but they ain't cheap. The Blues Power looks pretty nice too but I think the Duellist is the most popular. If money were no object I'd probably have a Royal OD tbh.

Yeh, the prices are quite high for pedals; these were around 790€ combined. I paid 449€ for a new Klon KTR from a shop so around same range…

I can do the Blues Power .... Soloist ... Duelist .... and the Heavyhand .... plus the Octaland
I'm holding out until some bills is paid, I finish an album using the Gladio clone, and hopefully find something with a full EQ on it. That Soldano might fill the bill but I still want big knobs and a jewel light dammit, lol. Probably next year. You're making it way to easy to feed my addiction. Like a dealer that lives at the bottom of the staircase.

I think you would dig this .....

Jesse is great to work with and rips on guitar. I have the King Tone Blues Power, The 1968 vibe, Mini Fuzz V2, Octaland, Bluebird J1 pickups (neck and middle in my Luxxtone) along with a King Tone Switch in my Luxxtone and Strat.

You will enjoy the Fuzz as it is very response to the volume knob on your guitar along with all the tone options on the pedal.
