How much bigger is this wah, compared to the standard Crybaby-type enclosure?

I want to find something to replace my CAE wah but I will have to wait until you guys move the input jack to the right of the pedal.

Much bigger. 13 1/4" x 4 3/8" x 3 1/4"

That design is seriously flawed from a compact cabling setup point of view... the jacks being surrounded by the metal cutout will make certain setups impossible... jacks on the same side that isn't the top makes it extremely awkward... and it's WAY too big... looks cool as hell though... sorry to be negative... hope Kirk goes with you guys exclusively!

Agreed. Pancake plugs are outta the question with this wah.

I understand and appreciate that a lot of work went into the making of this wah but it looks that almost no consideration went into the practicality aspect.

Sure it looks cool as all fuck and sounds great, but what's the point if it won't work with my current pedalboard configuration?

So the black/green combo, if Kirk makes a deal does that mean we can't order that combo? Would definitely be a disappointment, but there's still a good number of options that I'd be happy. I'm between a black or white chassis, not sure what LED though.
Huge congrats to you though, even if they're just testing them it's still a huge step and you definitely deserve it. Can't wait to see what else is in store for you in the future.
Unless he asks for it to remain exclusive, you probably will be able to order a black chassis down the road. We are a small 3 man team and the setup costs for each different color of chassis isn't cheap, lol. So we made a bunch in the other colors first.

Well he did say that they are talking about the jacks being on the same side already.

I am sure they are talking about more than that and are taking everything into account.

Give it some time, In a couple years we might see the wireless mini EBM micro wah

Something like that, maybe more than you know =)

The jacks are definitely an issue we are aware of and are working to make sure the pedal would work well for everyone. It actually has a lot more untapped potential, even the existing pedal right now =)

The size may or may not be smaller down the road. One of the big features people wanted to make sure we retained was a feel similar to the modified ernie ball volume pedals which were used to control the original EMB Audio Remote Wah. The EMB Pedal Wah has the same exact sweep (15 degree) as the ernie ball and the larger size allows for the same physical feel. If we keep the same sweep degree and physically change to a smaller footprint, it will throw off the pivot point and feel. That would be more similar to the Boss volume pedal design, which people liked but many by far wanted the EB feel.
