CHRIST, I haven`t played in a long time!! :aww: This was more of a test, and more to show the tone of the amp on 1, than my fantastic playing, hehe
I`m playing my seven-string through my Mesa Caliber 50+. This was a whisper volumes, I have to say it was barely on! :D
Lots of gain, EQ in a "V" etc...

You rock, so where's the sloppyness? Couldn't find it honestly.

Sounded reallly good to me Knut! Funny how I could hear the strings over the amp! LOL! :D
That's how I usually play. I've recorded clips where you can actually hear me hitting strings... :D

Olaf, YOU rock! I'm usually just playing riffs on the 7, but it was the one lying on the couch, hehe. I've played a lot of 5-string bass, but I'm still not "natural" on a 7-stringer. The low B often becomes an E when doing scales :) I hope you and your loved ones are doing well.

7string with a reverse fender headstock? TOTAL WIN!! Sounded Great BTW Knut... Would love to hear a bit more volume of course...

Vrad!
Yeah, in the room, the strings were more or less the same volume, but I turned my crap camera towards the amp, so I wouldn`t have to give y`all the displeasure of listening to my Squier Stagemaster unplugged

The Mesa sounds really really nice at low volume settings to my ears, and through a 4x12, it does a fairly nice Dream theater type sound with my Ibby+Steve`s special, and Metallica with the ESP+EMG81. A MKIII it is not, but for the price and my use, a nice replacement :)

:D Yeah, it LOOKS cool....

It`s actually one of these, but with a hardtail, and a single Seymour Duncan Blackout.
For the price (the pickup cost me as much as the guitar did, new) I paid, it`s actually quite decent.

Now that I`ve tried it once, and have figured out how to upload videos, I can try to do something louder when the family`s out of the house. The lil`un is sleeping, so "barely on" was the only way this time ;)

Thanks, Dave! :) I`ve seen yours, so mucho appreciated!

Here`s a pic of said guitar.. Big axe, small dude.

(He`s probably going to end up at 6'3" with shoe size 12 too :D)

I've got one of those too, 1990 50 Caliber+ 1x12 combo 6L6.

Yours seems to sound / play better than mine. There supposed to be pretty good amps but mine needs work - sounds like mush.

Hi, Mike! It might have an issue, mine sounds clear and tigth. It is similar to a Mark, but of course not as big sounding. I've had a 1 and a 2c+, and the transformers in the Cal are puny in comparison.
