Kolev Custom wound pickups vs others

I’ve been using Kris Kolev’s pickups for sometime now I’ve played/tried the name brand pickups and some of the high price pickups that are out there(im not selling or pushing his pickups)they have this living thing about them that the others didn’t have,Kris knows pickup and especially PAF pickups he lightly wax pots his pickups plus his own formula from experience and knowledge and winds them to his specs and knowledge, I have friends that are into name brand and high price marketing BS until they had Kris recently make the a pickup and it was like what the F, there response to me was I’ve should have listened to you because they were on this name brand high price boutique pickup believe,anyway just to share…
