Korg Rackmount Tuner discontinued

This happened apparently in 2010, and is news to me. Had no idea Korg did this. I always loved the Korg Rack Tuners and thought they were fantastic!! I guess that makes Peterson the king of Rackmount tuners now?
 
Peterson is really the only decent rackmount tuner you can get now... IIRC the only other one still in production is the cheap Behringer
 
Hmm, that is very strange. I guess the demand just died out for rackmount tuners. I always thought Korg dominated that market since the Peterson's cost significantly more.
 
That's too bad..I've always preferred rack tuners while on stage. Seems like a much better option to me. Everyone should have a Power Conditioner anyway, so you might as well just get at least a 2 space rack for the PC and a Tuner. Don't have to stand at the front of the stage, looking like an idiot while tuning your guitar.

Even for home use I prefer the rackmount tuner. Im surprised they didnt atleast keep the DTR1000 since it was very popular. I wish I never sold it. Not sure if the Pitchblack is as accurate.
