Pretty heavy for a Suhr at 8.8 lbs if I read it right. Sorry can't offer a opinion on the tone of those woods. Sweet looking.

Call Matt up and talk to him. He's a great dealer!

It'll sound fucking amazing. I love Korina; fantastic body wood. Like mahogany, with a little extra midrange snap to it. I'm surprised it's not more commonly used. Don't be thrown off by the weight; it ain't a light wood. My Warmoth black limbs Soloist is the smallest guitar physically that I have (Nuno N4-ish), but also the heaviest.

8 Lbs 8 oz is just over 8 lbs, not 8.8lbs.

Black limba sawdust is dangerous according to Lynch.

Not to be confused with Black Mamba ...

Mine has such deferent wood, I didn't want to speculate on how that one will sound.

This has a Wenge neck and Pao Ferro board, but it's pretty sweet!

Korina is my favourite body wood - every guitar I've built with a korina body has lovely mids (although they also had a maple cap which might make them a bit different to solid korina). I would say it's a little like mahogany but not as dense in the low end and with sweeter more open mids. Although every bit of wood is different obviously.
