my mate's band is on tour with them now, here's a quick rig pic that was shot

nothing unexpected, rectos with some rack tuning/wireless stuff

I never have been able to make out anything but bottom end garble from them, i'm sure there's a guitar in there somewhere.

I admit I like "Head" era Korn, new stuff not so much.

Can you guys till respect me in the morning?

As I said on HC, Munky has always used a 15 foot pedalboard, so that is what we need pics of!

They have pretty much used Triple Rectos from the beginning...

Yeah nothing new there. Same setup they've been running for a while.

I also would like to see a good pic of Munky's pedalboard these days. He's got a new two-tier board that I've been curious to see close up.

love Head Korn
Take a Look in the Mirror is such an awesome recording. The drums and bass tones are stellar, the songwriting structures are A+

I don't care what anyone says, the first two albums were original and excellent. Follow the Leader and everything after sucked. They never should've got into that rap-metal bullshit.

OP, what band is your buddy in? Cool rig shot.

It all went down hill once they started going all Kirk Hammett on the Digitech XP-100....

Follow the Leader is not that bad. Then again I associate that album with good times in HS so I get nostalgic.
Rap-metal to be is Limp Bizkit and they really fucked up the late 90s.

Just to jump back in, yeah, I think Korn was a great band and had a huge impact on history. You will find few metal fans that say those first albums didn't make a splash in the mid 90's.

I remember I was in high school at the time, and the first album was our answer to people and their giant bass systems playing Dr. Dre. We could out-bass them with heavy shit :D

Yeah I wasn't there myself so no pedalboard shots

I still associate "Life is Peachy" with Freshman football. Good times!!

Follow The Leader is the album that got me into metal music back in middle school. I still love that album.

I've never listened to them before :dunno:

Pretty exciting for your friend huh? Pretty awesome.
