I have been wanting a tiger burst guitar and don't wanna pay 4k for the Lynch ESP Sunburst Tiger. HAs anyone played these Kramers'? I know Satchel from Steel Panther uses them but I was looking for opinions on quality, tone etc...

Anywhere else I could get a Tiger burst type superstrat for around 2K-2.5K? Charvel Custom Shop maybe? Warmoth and make my own?...

Thanks for the help dudes

i have a killer custom shop charvel bullseye in the classifieds for super cheap, you could repaint it yourself and save cash.

I´d give GMW a call, you´ll probably end up south of 2K even with the graphic.

This ^

Buying used and having it painted is also a great option

I built the same guitar for just under a grand. Just find someone to do the graphic.

That guitar of yours is killer and the price is amazing, but he would not be saving any money because the Kramer is $759.

True but he would probably get alot more quality for the money .
I looked at these as well cause I have always liked the tiger graphic but I can't imagine the quality would be there . The reviews I've read were good but more than one of them made reference to their mom or dad so I didn't put to much stock in them .

fwiw . I built a warmoth a few years back and the quality was top notch . So if you built it yourself you will have a really nice guitar for well under what you could buy a guitar of the same quality for .

Yea I am thinking of doing that. Just making one to my specs with everything I want..

True. You can buy the standard Pacer for $299 but it's your typical built in Indonesia guitar. That's why I decided to build my own with top quality parts.

Musicraft in NJ makes Kramer replica bodies and necks from whatever wood you want, headstock shape (banana , reverse banana, beak, strat head, etc...) and the quality is at least as good as Warmoth...I own both and the Warmoth strat shape is quite different than a Kramer (or a Charvel for that matter) if that matters to you.

I would probably go for a Pacer iand upgrade it f I didn't have mine already. The Barettas look odd. That headstock looks weird to me.
