I have a KSR Eros that I've been mostly using as a boost, but I'm curious how people dial them in when using it more as an overdrive/distortion pedal?

I had one when they were first released and sold it pretty shortly afterwards as I preferred my Deadweald Duality DX. But I think Kyle has suggested to use it as more of an EQ/Distortion pedal instead of a standard boost. I believe he also said to not be afraid of extreme settings as it's not your typical circuit.

There’s a video out there of “5 tones” that’s great. For some reason those settings don’t even sound close on mine.

Have any luck getting decent distortion tones out of it? I've been curious about using an Eros for a distortion pedal since I don't want the bigger Ceres or Vesta, but it seems like you just see videos of it being used as a boost.

If you Google it, there’s a video of a chap running through it with 5 tones. Haven’t tried them yet though. That said, I ran it into my SigX today and it gave me a big smile.

I played my buddy’a SLO pedal and it was great - I never liked the way the amp sounded but the pedal kicks ass.
