KSR Juno "King Diamond" inspired clip

A last minute idea for the Juno demo's! King Diamond influenced. All rough idea guitar takes but will hammer out quickly before sending off. All guitars are straight Juno. 1 track panned left/right. Used Helix Native for leads (effects only). I used my Balaguer SD guitar but may end up using this for an official BC Rich Custom Shop vid.

Love King Diamond. Larocque/Blakk were the best duo of their generation. Them, and Conspiracy have the sickest solos! Good shit, right there!

Yeah man, LaRocque/Blakk were a nuts combo for sure. I wish Andy was a household name. The dude is one of those guys like Dime, Eddie, etc that when you hear him, you know him. Probably my all-time favorite guitar player as well.

Abigail was the album that made me a KD fan. Abigail, Them, Conspiracy and House of God I think are his greatest overall albums but there's literally nothing I don't truly enjoy. After listening back to a few songs today, I need a deeper snare for full Mikkey feelz!

Love it! You should add the opening riff after the drums a fourth higher, then drop it down to where you are playing(or a fourth lower). He does that on Welcome home, family ghost and countless others. You really nailed the vibe though.

Thanks dude! I have about 16 hours this weekend dedicated to the full mix vids. I will quad track them. 2 tracks for each are already done. I will do the play along vids while tracking the other 2 rhythms and lead tracks.

I am going to use this song for a BC Rich vid, then I have a thrash tune and one of my punk bands songs for Juno/KSR vids. The punk tune sounds great with the KSR and it shows the Crunch channel using single coils on my G&L ASAT.

Did you do the guitars through the Torpedo Studio? If so, may I ask which IR(s) you used, with what settings?

I got a Torpedo Live myself two days ago and scratching the surface. So far the Angl VintC (stock) is a bit of a letdown, but the Diezel (Kerozen) and Mesa Recto (CalifC) stock ones are quite nice if you futz around with the ribbon mics.

Thanks! Yup. All Torpedo Studio with Hop Pole K100 Cab. The Hop Pole cabs are amazing. I have the Big Boy 212 with: K100, Alnico Creambacks and Redbacks, I have their 422 with V30 and 112 with Creamback 65.
