Got this today and waiting on the Red Seven D100 Rack unit to hit the door steps, will follow up on its performance or lack there of

Ok this pre amp is actually a great tone, a good cln and the vintage is perfect for rock and Heavy rock(tight) and the Modern ch was a big surprise, usually third ch is muddy but this one is kick ass and the power amp can do a good amount of sculpting too haha who would'a thunk!

Very cool! Is that the one that was on Reverb? I was eyeing one on there, but I ended up grabbing a different preamp instead.

Yes It Is, I also bought a Red Seven Load box amp central and that has everything I need for recording the preamp, I was going to us it with my Soldano but my Buddy snagged it from me hehe

The KSR power amp is stellar and couldn’t have wanted more, just perfect, as for the preamp D100 not so good, it’s subjective on tone preference but unusable for my genre

My timeline this morning was taken over by 2 sentence Necro bumps and fluff posts, pretty obvious...to me.

Just was surprised, then looked into it ...and it's like a post every 1 - 2 minutes, until he reaches 51.

Then silence. Not suspicious at all.

Yeah, picking that Soldano preamp was definitely a good investment for me since I felt the tones it has delivered were on par with other amps that I've owned!!

Honestly, I didn't think the videos made it sound very good but we all know that we can't judge tone by just YT videos, and you sold that thing in record time, so there are definitely people that like that preamp.
