KT-66 bias?

Seem to find conflicting information on these...some say bias like a true 5881 (18-22mV), some like a 6L6GC....(28-35) at 500V on the plates Eggie/Randall wise that is.
 
How about:

plates turn red? dial it back a little bit. :lol: :LOL:

Renegade manual says 60-70 / pair, 30-35 each. I've been doing mine at 68 / pair.

Don't happen to know the plate voltage on that do ya? Is it 500 like the modular stuff?

Thanks Bruce..the KT66 have been sounding good at around 30-32mV with the plate around 500 in my modular stuff.
