That's definitely not my experience either. I've sold hundreds of JJ's and used them myself for quite some time and I'm yet to find a faulty one.

I haven't used the JJKT77's yet but I have experience with the 6L6's and the EL34's from them and I have had nothing but problems. Had some JJ6L6's in my engl and 3 days later had a MASSIVE failure and it took the heater cap with it :/ replaced the cap and put some Wing C's =C= in there and been kick ass ever since. I put 6 JJ EL34's in my herbert and had 2 blow at the same time about 2 weeks later. Never doing JJ again :/
Same thing happen to me in 2 different amps. EL34 JJ's in both. A quad in a MK III boogie and a pair in a Dr Z. Both shit the bed after a few months. I'm really scared of JJ power tubes right now but I might have to try the 77's if Papa is saying they are good. I really wanna try a set of 77's in my Einstein.
