Hey all,

In the past I had used gold lion kt88's in a shiva 20th and they were amazing, does anyone know if the current Gold Lions are the same, I seem to recall they changed them, or if you have any recommendations let me know. Thank you and happy new year dudes!

If they are New Sensor tubes, made in china now. Probably will sound different than Russia made.

Honestly I like the JJ offerings as far as KT88 go same with KT77

GL's are the most expensive! Never had a set. Did not know they are Chinese now..

JJ kt88 are the best KT88 being made right now. Very high quality KT88. Had quite a few and they never fail to bring the goods.

I have a quad of new in box gold lion kt88 that i bought for an amp in 2020 but i sold before the tubes even got delivered. I would part with them if you are interested. I only have an el 34 amp

Web as of today sez NS still in Sarotov Russia. Looks like CP around $300 a quad + tax & shipping which is resonable all things considered.
