Lady commentators in Men’s sports…why?!

Most people who obsess about sports typically just repeat what they heard from the commentators.
"Most" doesn't exactly pin down a %. Guys I talk with don't do that and create our own narrative....rehashing commentators isn't part of the experience.

Cool man. I don't have any friends and I rarely leave my house so I don't know how people discuss sports these days. I will say when I did interact with people outside the internet, that is just how it came across to me.

A sign of the times: we text during games, not hang out at sports bars like the commercials love to portray. I sometimes think that's made-up horse shit.

When I did have friends, I would occasionally go to a bar to watch UFC fights. I actually did not care for UFC at all, as I don't exactly get enjoyment out of watching people beat the crap out of each other. But I did feel a bunch of drunkards watching people fight was kind of a bad mix, if you ask me. lol.

Actually, ESPN has stolen so many games from the fans (pay to watch) that bars are the only option. But I HAVE borrowed log-in info to stream some games....fuck espn.

I've always despised that pay to watch crap. I used to be a huge fan of WWF back in the day and nothing pissed me off more than pay-per-view.

Women in some cases are smarter than men, provide better insight and have some pretty interesting perspectives relative the their male counterparts and on average I wouldn't be surprised that they offer more quality production in that sense........ When it comes to MLB.

But yes by example as in yesterday at the Super Bowl in NFL
...... If we are going to have old wrinkly legacy women and DEI hires..... With zero real insight, perspective or really anything important to say......

Maybe we should have some of those hot weather girls from local TV channels comment on NFL or NBA for that matter or that hot bartender chic from the local bar..... Vs whatever NFL did yesterday nvm their unAmerican BS and may as well have Rachel Maddow be a commentator :dunno:

I’m almost 40. The days of wanting to go out and meet people are behind me. I’m just bored most of the time. My internet sucks so playing a game online isn’t much of an option and none of my bass amps work so I need to just find other ways to stay occupied. It’s back to reading books and listening to music on a cd player lol.
