Ended up staying through the 4th and glad we did. Won't get into detail but feel free to ask questions. We flew into Carson City, NV and picked up our Rental. Hwy 50 West is a beautiful drive. Then you come over the mountain range and see the lake for the first time and it is quite a site. Second deepest lake in the US and damn big. Waves lap up on the beach at our hotel lodge and it is like being on the ocean. Magnetite is all around so can pick up the beach with a magnet literally. We did a boat trip to Emerald Bay, eBiked to Fallen Leaf Lake, 32nd Anniversary with my wife at Ceasars (just across the state line in South Lake Tahoe), 4th of July on the beach, plus much more.
