I've been wondering the same thing! I know Rich Ward has been using them for a little bit now and he in my opinion has great tone!

Bit of a difference ;)

They could have their own amps backstage and mic'd up. Who knows!

true =0, when they played here they were definitely using the, nothing else mic'd up but that was over a year ago,

what surprised me was that they they were using them for both clean and dirty tones, with the usual maxon/NS-2 combo i think for the dirt channel,

when times of grace were here they were boosting splawns with a separate i think twin reverb for clean tones

I interviewed Joel and Adam D a few months ago and they are running the Ironheart backline. The only thing they do is change the stock Laney speakers to Vintage 30's. Sounds absolutely massive. They are just using Maxon OD808 overdrives in front and cabs are mic'd with Sennheiser e906s. They were all sorts of fanboy over those amps.

This is my understanding as well...That they actually were over the moon for them in the studio: good to hear that they are using them live as well; This says a lot about the Ironheart in my opinion, as Adam has a great ear, and has used some fantastic high-gainers in the past (Diezel, Framus, 5150, etc). I am not a "booster", but I really like how Adam sets up the Maxon in front of the amp...Gives just that extra "pick" and grind. I'm actually looking forward to testing one of these out.

Yup, KSE uses IH's on tour currently as well as in their rehearsal space from video I've seen.
