I am more than interested in this pedal. Anything you want to say good, bad or ugly I would be interested. Not much on the web about this petal...
If anyone is selling one send me a PM or whatever...

If you like a other Muff better or whatever feel free to say why or recommend me checking out others....Thanks...

the rhythm guitarist at my church uses one. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL pedal.

the ability to add/remove gain stages and manipulate each stage independently is more versatile than any muff you can find.

everything from overdrive to paint peeling distortion can be had with this pedal. I spent an hour with it and did not even scratch the surface. It fits well in any position on your board because you can tailor the first stage to make up for impedance mismatch, which is a major issue if you have been frustrated with picky fuzzes before. They are VERY picky about what hits them.

I personally use a Way Huge Swollen Pickle, but it is picky about where in the signal chain it goes...

:) I have used the Way Huge Swollen Pickle ... very cool. Thanks for the reply. I was wondering about impedance mismatch.... very good to hear. I was thinking about picking up a few but this should cover most of my taste. I have owned several over the years. The first I bought in 1978. I still have a Black Russian and might pick up a Civil War type. I have yet to hear anything negative. Some have said it does not get as nasty as some of the Ram style because it tends to be smooth. I want it more for Gilmour type stuff / and have a Fuzz Factory and others so that is covered. It does not create the intense bass some of the Russian models do. The one I have is pretty thick but some I know have more low end.

pair it with a pork loin, and it will do gilmour all day long.

just remember, a rams head has only 2 gain stages that have fixed voltage and bias. The royal beaver has 3 adjustable gain stages.

I am using a Blackout effectors musket for my big Muff needs, great pedal. I have only had a green russian muff and a NYC reissue, that is as far as my muff experience goes. The green was my favorite, wish I still had it as they go for big money compared to what they used to....

My Big Muff went away when I discovered the Z Vex Fuzz Factory. There is almost no classic fuzz tone that you can't get with that little box...as well some that you've never heard before.

Every time you mention Beaver, I get this Primus video stuck in my brain and find it hard to purge.......

The ability to turn on and off all 3 gain stages and control them separate really appeals to me. I have owned a few Real Tube pedals and Muffs to do the Gilmour thing. I have a Fryette SAS can do similar and I like it way more. That and my Sig X clean channel can do the vintage Hiwatt thing no problem.

Yes I have had the Green .... big thick sound that is perfect for certain things. My Black Russian is very similar in sound.

I got my Fuzz Factory in the late 90's. It is my main Fuzz. It does not have a lot of bass and it is difficult to get that big smooth sound. That is one of the main reasons I want this also.

He does great reviews, atleast imo and it seems to be an awesome big muff pedal. Really don't see you going wrong with it
I had a short conversation with Bjorn the other day on Facebook. Said it is the one he uses most and feels as strong about it today as then.
