Killer....just go buy it don't review it against Dio....its great music!

Love the album... just great vibe and Andrew kills it on the vocals. Devil, Star... great songs... but Im really diggin' Curse the Day.
One of my favorite releases thus far.

I like those also! There really is some cool off tempo stuff!

I listened to most of it on the way to work and back today. I like a few. The guitar tones are great. Wish there were some more riffs but still pretty solid. Will keep on rotation for a while this weekend to see how it grows.

I LOVE Devil, but not to much impressed with the rest yet. Maybe needs to grow on me. Can't even point to what is missing. very unique sound and feel, which is great. Loads of power and passion. Could have a little more shredding. After first listening I hear so many great ideas in it. Maybe I do compare it to the DIO stuff too much, maybe it feels to much heavy rock instead of heavy metal or me. I don't dig Vivians tone on the record too much. Well let's see how it grows on me. devil is a killer! Best rocker I ve heard for years

Hell yeah, Curse the Day is a ferocious tune

I really love it and it reminds me of the old days. They said that they told the producer they were trying to capture the old vibe.

I played I am revolution and martyr at my son's hockey game and they loved them!

If I'm correct, I believe the producer was Jeff Pilson. . . from Dokken.

Yes, you are correct!!

Definitely a killer disc!!! And yes, it is not even close to Dio, but still a killer disc!!!

There's certainly an old school Dio vibe going on, but it's not the same either.
Great guitar tone though. I also bought the Resurrection Kings at the same time.
Very different obviously. Tons of keyboards on this one. I love Craig Goldy, but
I really don't like his guitar tone on this. Great playing though.

Bought it off iTunes tonight based on this thread and the Viv Campbell interview in Guitar World.

Pre-ordered it...some good moments, I really need to take time to listen to the whole thing on my big arse speakers here....
