Great post. Would read again and recommend to friends.

Where's the like button?

Guess Alex was just emotional getting inducted into the R&R Hall

..no one else seen the Canadian humor

I thought maybe it was a message to the hall of fame? dunno

I'm still not convinced that was not William Shatner wearing an Alex Lifeson wig. "Kirk to Geddy... Who's been eating my porridge?" I'm not going to say it's about time in reference to RUSH being inducted... Declining the award would have been epic! Great performance!

Dave Grohl has truly perfected the art of condescension. From his monologue to his mockery of REAL musical artists... This seems to be a habit of Dave's, and it shows his insecurity about his limitations as a musician. His sidekick Taylor Hawkins revealed himself last night as a world-class git! Okay, who left Taylor's cage open? When and how did the Foo Fighters ever become cool?

I think the highlight of the evening for me was to see Roger Fisher playing on-stage again with Michael DeRosier and Steve Fossen. I never thought such a reunion would ever actually happen. When Ann and Nancy Wilson's 'wonder-twin' powers are activated, look out! It would 'take a village' to muscle these two broads... Great show!

Yeah I get a little bit tired of this shtick too.. yeah we get it, make real music, make your own music, don't use auto tune..bottom line is that he is proud of himself for creating a genre that wasn't defined by totally awesome solos and cool hair. Unfortunately, it is like penis envy, he wishes he could play like Vitto Bratta or Vinne Moore or anyone else you can think of with chops.

Man, I love Rush but Alex's acceptance speech was at least two minutes too long

The beginning of the show was a highlight for me. But not because of Randy Newman, Jackson Browne, Tom Petty, or John Fogerty. It was good to see Waddy Wachtel again, as I had not seen him since he was one of the "Expensive Winos" with Keith Richards.
