I love mine. It's a 2013 60's tribute LP Studio. Exposed Mahogany back and a non-gloss, lightly lacquered top. Picked it up from Wildwood Guitars (Lance-a-Not). I would highly recommend contacting Lance.

I love gold tops. If you like the fat necks, you can't go wrong with any of the re-issues. It's just about the features you want and your budget.

If you like the thin necks, there's the 1960 Classic series which is available in gold top and I think you can get the Traditional series in a thinner neck as well.

Sounds good. In that range you'll probably get a Studio or Tribute series or maybe a traditional if you're lucky.

Early 2000 classics are nice, at least mine is. I've heard many also feel that the early run of classics sounded great. It's one of the best playing and sounding LP's I have ever played.

I love mine. GoldTop DarkBack '57 bought brand spankin' from Jim & Janine at Route66 Classic Guitars. Perfect out of the case, one of my best players, easily. Love it. Gorgeous feel, resonant body, sustain for days, and perfect action.
