So I've always known that my favorite Les Paul is 8.5 lbs. Weighed it today and she weighs 9.5 lbs. That is weird.

I've always liked heavier Les Pauls. They seem to have punchier mids.

The thing that's weird is that there seriously has been a weight change in my Lester. I'm certain it was 8 1/2 pounds in the past.

"She" gained weight, got naturally reliced and is getting older. Are you sure you're talking about a guitar :D

Only LP guys seem to weigh their guitars...

Remember to always weigh in the morning, as weight fluctuates throughout the day

An additional pound? I was thinking that changing pickups and other hardware (tailpiece, studs, etc) might cause a weight fluctuation......but probably not a pound.

Maybe he had Billy Blades do some custom soldering work?

Sorry, Billy. I saw that one and I took it..

Maybe the scale is off. maybe it fluctuated a bit. It's just a cheap bathroom scale anyways. Still that is weird how it gained a pound.

OMG that is so funny

I've never weighed mine

Now I do get better tone out of my heavier deluxe strat rosewood neck, over my lighter standard maple strat

My Blonde Beauty has better tone than my gold top, same year.
