I freaking hate Winger but man, this guy can play the guitar!

Meet Reb about 15 years ago. He rocks, was super cool - and I love Winger.

I love his opening track "Black Magic" on that Guitar World CD Guitars That Rule The World :

killer playing, even tho i had some winger tracks it was solo on this timmons track that made me go 'who's that guitarist'

admittedly not quite as clean as on record, but i just love that solo

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Beach about 18 years ago in Ann Arbor Michigan at a clinic that Al Nally's Music put on. He was very nice and seem genuine. I love his book of work and think that Winger never got the credit they earned.

The man can play that's for shure

20 years on, totally nailing it and the last chorus is sick

she's only 35... ;)

I played cards one late night with Reb and a mutual friend/guitarist, Bobby Messano. It was surreal -- I had been a fan of Reb's from his Winger days. . .this was around the time he was playing with Alice Cooper. In fact, Bobby called me at work in the afternoon and said "hey are you going to be at work for awhile? I want to bring a friend by." About 20 minutes later, he walks in with Reb! It was weird, but very cool. Anyway, we hung out for awhile. . .when to see his gig with Alice Cooper that night, and then it was a few months later that Reb was back in town and we were over at Messano's drinking and playing cards.

He can definitely RIP!!!! Seems like a totally cool cat too.

I actually REALLY liked Winger back in the day LOLOL I have caught a few episodes of RNR Fantasy Camp and ol Kip seems like a really cool dude too to be honest. He actually plays guitar really well also....

While I love Lynch, this is a killer version of Tooth and Nail with Reb.

The thing I love about Beach's playing is his phrasing. He picks notes and runs that aren't familiar (if that makes sense). He picks notes I wouldn't have thought to play but fit perfectly.

reb's very underrated, even still today.

the dude's hella talented, a down to earth guy, has always had solid tone, and he has always been able to play his fucking ass off

i love the beer mod on his website
