Again with FedEx. Have an item on the way. Was scheduled to be delivered today, checked this morning and now it's scheduled for tomorrow, a Saturday.

Nearly every single FedEx delivery I've had scheduled for a Saturday never gets delivered on a Saturday. So I sit home all day waiting for nothing. Then, usually some time after 6PM or later, The delivery date disappears, with a message saying the delivery date will be provided when available or something to that effect, which usually means some time Monday, so another day where I have to sit home all day waiting again.

It's a large, and relatively expensive item and I want to be here when delivered to make sure the driver doesn't "abuse" the box any more than it has been during the shipping process...though it's usually UPS here that damages items more often than FedEx; though UPS is much better at delivery date accuracy than FedEx here IME.

I get my deliveries right away in a big way... especially if they are large expensive items. ;)

USPS just changed my delivery from today until Tuesday for some reason. It has already shipped and it’s only an hour away. Kinda dumb

I've had FedEx have it as "Out for Delivery" only to get it updated after 6PM that the delivery date will be updated...after waiting all day, with Saturday being the worst crap shoot.

I wouldn't mind as much if this was a small item for a few hundred $; this time I'm waiting for an item that's large, heavy and cost a few thousand $.

I’m just waiting on a new battery charger for an old camera. I haven’t used it in about 10 years, but these few more days are gonna irritate me lol

I had a package FedEx said was going to be delivered this past Tuesday morning, then Tuesday end of day, then Wednesday morning, then Wednesday afternoon, then end of day Wednesday, then Thursday by 1:30, then by end of day Thursday, and it finally arrived late Thursday evening, so I wasted three days waiting, couldn't leave the shop for lunch or anything. They have gotten really bad lately.

FedEx sucks. USPS sucks. UPS is marginally better. Unless it's that stupid shit where UPS delivers it to the post office and then they deliver it to you.

Anything that I get through USPS is routed through STL. And that's always a goat fuck.

exactly. happens here nearly every time; worse if it's a Saturday delivery

Just got the FexEx notification that it's out for delivery as of 8:39 AM local time.

If it arrives today, it will be a first in a few years. Most Saturday FedEx "out for delivery" stay that way, undelivered, until after 6PM when they update the delivery eventually, for Monday delivery.

I hope it arrives today, and isn't damaged.

So, FedEx updated the delivery window to 10:50AM to 1:00 PM. Once the time hit 1PM, we have this:

Given my most recent experiences with FedEx Saturday deliveries, it will likely stay in this status until after 6PM, then be updated to Monday. So the entire Saturday, I sat home for nothing. I hope they prove me wrong, and it isn't damaged.

Actually was delivered! I don't see any major damage to the box; and the driver helped me carry it up the stairs which is a big help given the size of the box, not easy to grab or balance for one person due to the length and width.

FedEx did great so far. Happy to be proven wrong.
Good deal. :-)
