So I finally made the jump from lamo stomp box effects to a rack processor and am now MIDI for one button fun. I bought a roadcase, ground control pro, and G major 2 off gbsmusic (greg) to use with my Herbert and am can see why this style of a setup is so popular.

I'd like to see what you guys are using for rack gear with your heads as I am having trouble thinking of anything else I actually need so far between my Furman and Gmajor2. I thought I would need a Decimator but am happy with the Gmajor's noise gate. Outside of a rackmount wireless, don't know what else I could need.

Post up your head/rack rigs. Just looking for ideas of what some of you guys are running.

I'm currently (finally) putting together a MIDI setup, but it consists of pedals in loops on a floor pedal board. I like my effects in front of my amp.

Here's mine, GCP controlling two GCX's, a Timefactor and a Modfactor. The two GCX's are each linked to a shelf of pedals, and the rig is stereo with the split happening straight away so the signal splits immediately and each signal goes through one GCX and to an amp.

My midi rig is so insane I can't even figure it out yet.

I got the GCX ground control pro and the GCX switcher along with a Mesa High Gain amp switcher as well as a Radial JD7.

I have a plan but I am giving myself another month to figure it out.

this is my very low budget rack...but functions perfectly for what I need

i was using this rack/amp setup for a while, but now i'm currently not using the midi/rack switching because my fortin is only one channel :D
i had a bunch of effects (phaser, flanger, whammy, delay, noise gate, reverb) in the rack as well as all the switching for the powerball. i wired all the stuff using mogami cable and switchcraft jacks.

Some say this is overkill,   --as though that's a bad thing. It works for me, not having to worry about pretty much getting whatever I want whenever I want it
