yeah I cant really argue with being more than a bit boarder line OCD. you should see how I get when there is a buzz somewhere in the signal route..... it goes from super clean to an entire mess though when I get that bug to start trying something different. Then its cables everywhere, snippets of George ls on the floor, half the rack pulled out and so on. Once I'm happy I go back to being anal retentive and get everything nice and neat... wait... I see a cable sticking out of the back of the pedal board ......must.. .... go.... .... fix.... .... immediately.... ..

Very cool. That is the best room I've ever seen for a home studio / practice room!

I can imagine the conversation here if I tried this. We don't have a basement, so my home office / studio is on the main floor of the house. Awhile back, I found this great metallic gun metal paint for my office / studio , made it look like a high tech futuristic submarine bridge. Well I bought a sample of the paint, and painted a section of the wall. It was very mean looking. Unfortunately, the fashion police at my house did not approve. I did have some success. The entire first floor of our house is hard wood. The are stained with India Ink, they are stained BLACK. Now if I could get the studio walls and ceilings in this metallic gun metal, with the proper lighting - it would rule! Then again, we want to sell this place next year, so it will be painted in a color from the pallet of suburban housewife approved colors.

Best room ever! Everyone to boofs for a jam!
