Let's talk about FUZZ

I'm about to buy my first fuzz and here's what I'm looking at:

Musket (depending on how much I liked it I might have to return it for a twosome)
Metalpedals Fuzzstortion
I would really like to have an ultra modded original big muff. I think it would be cool as hell all true bypassed with extra knobs and switches.

I don't care about boutique or not...I just care about if I'll like the tone....anyway, I thought the Daddy-O was just a basic overdrive and not fuzzy...i'll check it out

OD/Fuzz, they're sorta the same to me.

I get my core sounds from my raw amp setting and only use a pedal if I need a boost to cut/stand out.

I am LOW maintenance with regard to effects now. If I can get away with it my chain is:
hands>strings>pickups>cable>cable.

Love low maintenance! Just out of curiosity, when you go cable to cable why not just use a longer cable? ;)

I love fuzz pedals more than any other effect!
I've even made a video showing the differences between a few fuzz pedals.
Of course, the video shows them being used more as a vintage style tone tool, but I use them here in the studio for almost every style of music.
Also a soundcloud link with the intro song of the "EP" I'm recording, that is more towards doom/stoner. The fuzz used on the intro was a DAM Tonebender.
