I'm just trying to use this to add a little Delay, maybe some reverb....but seems like I can only get a massive effect or little audible effect.

...my current problem is, apart from inability to dial in the FX I want...is that even in Bypass, there's a definite coloring of the tone..sounds like it's somewhat low resolution digitized and it smooths out all the distortion.

Unit is relatively complicated with the routing and everything.....that and I'm a n00b...not sure I understand all the mix dB settings, although you'd think it'd be relatively straightforward. Mix, controls level of effect and dB increases or decreases output post effect?

Using in serial loop, am aware I could probably get less color in parallel loop, especially if I kill-dry to avoid phasing.

Anyone point to online resource/tutorial?

I had an MPX-1 and yeah...it's a bitch. hahahahaha

I used it sometimes, but it always added that digital feel to my QR.

I owned the MPX G2 system for.....1 week. I had the manual and still had a difficult time getting that thing to do what I wanted. Ended up trading it for a TC G Force and never looked back.

LOL....I had a TC Electronics device once or twice....may have been a G-Sharp...it was very simple to use.

I´m not aware of anything else than the manual. It is a slightly complicated unit, sure, but there´s no reason why it should have to jump from too little to too much FX and you seem to be on the right track with the mix and level controls. Does it behave that way in all the presets? You probably need to check the mix and level of every active block in the preset, so that there isn´t something else messing up the path.

The G2 actually has an internal analog dry path if set up that way, so it shouldn´t color the tone more than a minimal amount and certainly way less than any TC unit.

Going to dive back into the manual again.....makes me wonder if I have the darn thing setup right in Bypass mode.
