Just got this today...WOW! Absolutely killer delay!

oh man, those things are bitchin! sound killer! you never seem to stop getting the best gear!!

Congrats. They are cool units...tough to find and getting crazy expensive these days. Yours looks mint.

I went with the Korg DL8000R and TC 2290 for my delays.

Congrats - great units and nice to a see a mint one like that! I have two old Roland SDE-3000 delays that I use in my W-D-W setup and those old PCM-41s are the only thing that competes to me.

One of my SDE-3000s recently died though. Intermittently, the screen just flashes across and there is no output. It's been in a Roland repair shop for over a month and no fix yet. Real bummer!

Thx! Love the 2290 and dl8000! I found this one on craigslist. Offered the dude $250 and he took it. Unit is close to mint...seller told me that he bought it new years ago.

Score!

I remember using those and Yamaha SPX-90's extensively in school in the early 90's. What a blast from the past.

The Korg user interface sucks. It's takes a little bit getting use to, but once you figure it out (on your own since the user manual sucks too) it can do a lot...and sounds killer. I think they are a sleeper delay unit.

Sorry for the thread derail.
