hehe. its question.
I like that Prometheus is ultimate amp with all features
Got you.

Yeah I'm not sure. On pg 1 of thread there is someone who has all the amps.

Redseven fell into a bucket of amps that didn't get my interest. So I can't compare.

There is a YouTube guy john browne hes on this forum. Helpful for me in pulling the trigger. Does a video how similar the amp is and another how different it is to some big name amps. Did a good job capturing. Not redseven but others.

Features are nice. But other amps my engl included has a sort of defeat switch, noise gate, midi, and fx loop. I got interested here because it seemed to cover a lot of ground. fill in gaps and bridge between my high gain favorites. bought something different enough i was willing to take a chance.

My two cents.

I played it at namm. I won’t share my opinions on the amp since I consider Daniel a friend and I’m biased. What I will say is that the cut knob is basically a tightness knob- you can hear the knob in action on a lot of his pedals. The feature set of the amp is obviously really unique. Sonically, it was in the range of uber ultra, granophyre, Carstens empire type of amp. I also didn’t get to play it at a volume that could even allow me to evaluate the amp properly to compare against my favorites- there were amps I liked at namm that I didn’t end up liking at volume and vice versa.
Same here, Daniel is a friend. I have had the amp here for a few days. I'd say it is a really well thought out, modern sounding amp that stis somewhere between Engl, Marshall and Driftwood. Features are great, feel is good too. The Cut control can make it sound a lot more modern than classic stuff. You can add a preamp, MIDI, 19" compatible. I wouldn't call it real 3 channels.

More I've bonded with it the more I agree with some of the comments here.

Amp does seem to sort of have an engl vibe just not as processed. Marshall not as raw. It fills a gap from British/marshall to engl/German. Even hits some points for mesa. It does something just enough different than really made me happy.

That said the cut knob. It can make things more modern or reverse. I think the bite switch was smart. Folks can't be afraid to be extreme or cut any eq/settings. But cut knob to me too much you lose great sound.
