I like the Aesahaettr. Sounds fine to me! If I'm nitpicking, maybe a little too much gain/signal on the level control. Other than that, I like the switchable EQ and cut control. Sound-wise, with the EQ off, it's similar to the OD808 but tighter. What didn't you like about it? And what kind of music/tones were you going for?
I can't tell you how many times I've gotten into discussion with people about gear/tones only to realize we were coming at it from two totally different perspectives. Like I'm here talking about modern metal in today's scene and they're talking about '80s hair metal or something.

My usual music/tones-thrash and DM type stuff. The tone of that pedal just came off very synthetic sounding and sterile to me. And everything about the EQ sounded off to my ears. But its all totally subjective obviously.
