I just noticed you've got the lightning bolt thing going on on the faceplate too.

What would you replace it with?

youve invited alot of cooks into your kitchen..dont go crazy with this info

I personally had nothing against the original design, but I like this new version better.

I wouldn't have the lettering on the plate...I would most definitely lose the plate and have the letters cut out.

Here's a site I use all the time for finding cool fonts. Just be careful with the license if you're using it for commercial purposes.

http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=405&text=Lickliter

Just select the font style group from the top area, then page through all the fonts. The best thing about this site (for me anyway) is you can enter text and see all the fonts with your actual text all at once. Makes things sooooo much faster.

I like the one on your sig pic
But reminds me of this

I think both logos look amateur.

The lightning bolt thing I think is kinda goofy.

It all kinda looks completely outdated and 80's/cheesy.

I like the logo but to me the front grill does not flow with the logo as well as the current logo. The current logo has that lighting bolt thing going on that plays with the diamonds in the front grill. Maybe a solid front plate with that concept logo would look better. Just my .02 :) Logos can be tricky.

I like that Logo alot Mike. I think the grill and the control plate need to be updated to fit it!

I definitely think it looks better than the other logo, however this one is just as far in the other direction... just looks like you opened a blank Word document and typed the name... but to be honest this very simple (but IMO very cheap looking) design is better than the lightning bolt.

Have to agree with the few comments about the name... have you thought of maybe combining the two words somehow to make something easier on the eyes, and easier to pronounce? Like now you have Lickliter, why not something like "Likter? Or some other variation of both words?

Just my opinion on everything, definitely take your time in deciding what you want to do though!!

I appreciate all the input on the look of my amplifiers. I hope to increase the overall image of my product so they are more appealing to the potential customers. I would like to thank everyone for all the input!

Make the logo smaller in relation to the amp and move it to a corner if possible. Or keep it center, but moved to the top or bottom of the grille. Make the tubes and transformers the star of the show, not the name plate.

If you really want something unique I would recommend working with a graphical artist who will come up with at least part of the logo from scratch (I.e. not just browsing fonts).

There are some fantastic fonts out there but you'll probably spend as much time finding one that suits your company image as it would to spend a few bucks and have an artist work with you on something original.
