Mike Lickliter sent me his brand new prototype head to make some videos for him. I have one with my '79 Les Paul Custom and one with my brand spankin' new Anderson Drop Top 7. Check 'em out!
This head is loud as hell. 120 Watts powered by 4 KT88s. Shitloads of gain, too. Very low noise. Like crazy low. Likes a boost for the super tight stuff that I do and takes to them well. Lots of bottom end available. EQ is extremely responsive, subtle tweaks yield big results. Plate driven tone stack as compared to the cathode follower designs that I own and use. Took a bit of time to alter my normal tweaking habits but I think I got a pretty kickass tone going in the end.
