dude! i had one of those in the 80's. used the clean channel to power a rack preamp. the graphic eq was great!

I don't know about the amp, but if those are old Sylvania 6CA7s it's loaded with and they're in good shape, they're worth a few pennies on their own... :D

Never tried one but maybe the do sound similar to a 5150. Doubtful but maybe ;)

My thoughts exactly. Wonder how low he'd go?

Well, I personally wouldn't want to be saddled with an amp there's probably zero market for, and there's no telling what condition those tubes are in unless tested (assuming they're Sylvania's, hard to tell 100% from the pics). But, it might be worth striking up a conversation with the guy and letting him know if the amp doesn't sell, you'd be interested in buying the power tubes themselves at a (substantially lower) price point if they're of interest. You could possibly score a good quad for a few bucks.

Best quote: "These are true sleeper amps in the internet age, due to being highly uncommon."

Also highly uncommon: smallpox.

There's a local kid trying to sell his solid-state Fender combo and says it's "like a Mesa/Boogie" because it has an EQ.

I had the head version of these back in the 80's

This amp is as far from a 5150 as you could possibly get

Has about the gain of a stock JCM 800 at best

The only cool thing about it was that it did have 2 identical channels to get a true clean/dirt channel switch or Dirt/Lead volume boost by channel switch
