I think it's the same circuit as the VH2 but with different transformers. If it's like a VH4, I would just point all the controls at noon and rock out.
I've never played a vh2 or vh4 but I own a Herbert and brought it to gc to compare to a Fokker when they had one here locally.
I actually preffered the voicing of the Fokker, more raw and upper mid cut, but the bottom end was looser and the look just didn't gel with me but it was a killer amp no doubt.
Imho it has a bit less mids and a bit more highs than vh4 channel 3. Bass is a bit fatter, too.
Clean channel is very good, much better than vh4's.
As far as settings:
More or less all knobs at noon except volume.
I’ve had one.
It was cool. But probably my least favorite Diezel.
I’ve owned em all.
Still have my Herbert.
But people like amps for different reasons.
