If you order one don't be afraid to offer less then the Guitar Center GLP price. I bought this one on impulse recently http://platinum.guitarcenter.com/search ... odId=18226 and paid less then what their website wants for the normal Axis guitars.

It was when I first started getting into the message board forums and spent 99% of my time on HC, so I really didnt know any better....and I sure didnt know who in the heck Big Pappa was

I tried to aplogize but the pm I got from a mod was "are you fucking insane!!!"

To be fair, they (Ernie Ball) view the forum as "their house" and you don't talk like that in their house. As far as EVH topics go, there are plenty, but the stuff has been beat to death a thousand times over and they put a foot down over it all. It is not an EVH forum. It's been a long time since EVH was an endorser.

For what it's worth, I used to be a big Axis fan and user. Love the guitars, the forum got a little sickening with the ass kissing, so I do know where that kind of talk comes from. I no longer visit and the EVH Wolfgang is my preferred guitar nowadays. It's got lots I liked about the Axis and none of what I didn't like.
