Well, maybe not anymore.......but it is still the coolest multi effect unit ever, looks so awesome, built like a tank, big cant miss buttons.... If tc would just update it, or come out with a new version with effect routing capability, better reverbs, etc... They would be on top again.
I just cant understand them with this......
But yeah, i ve been checking this HX unit out lately, very cool unit. The separation thing though, why don't more company's do it? So convenient.

I actually really like the Univibe. The drives are indeed solid.cardinal":8tkqd3g4 said:I wouldn’t mind this.
I assume at this point digital drive pedals are solid? I would just need an SD-1 type thing
Does this Helix have a Univibe worth a darn?
I think Andy shows it on the Reverb.com Tone Report vid. I'll see if I can find it or I can make a clip tonight.cardinal":qltqtq2y said:^ thanks!
I just use a drive, boost, delay, and Univibe. Most inexpensive multiFX can’t seem to get the Univibe to be passable. I’d probably continue to use a normal wah.

I've had an FX8 and an ms3 before that worked fine. There are reports of a "bad batch" of units (1 out of 20?), so not sure if that's what occurred here.Regardless, I always hated line6 so later on crap unit.
I winded up going back to the ms3 and powering it with a wireless Volto. Sounds decent. Fractal sound destroys it, but the ms3 is such a small and cheap wireless package. I'll jam this unit the next Fractal comes out.
