line6 ux1 into garageband

had this set up for ages with no issues......all of a sudden it only records a dry gtr signal.!
i plug into the line6 ux1 into garageband as usual.....choose my tone amps fx.....all sounds good as it usualy does....i play along with my track.. sounds good!!.......i press record & it only records a clean guitar sound...no amp sim from the UX1..........I can choose the crappy onboard GB GTR sounds but not my UX1 's.......
how to correct this?
 
Control Panel, line6 setup thingy then select which tracks are being sent to the recording tracks. Likely "dry signal" is selected. Cheers, lucius
