i cant get past the messages in some of their videos, it really urks me on the music itself - the fat suit video, we all live in amerika, etc. the music is great but the messages they give are very semantic, i cant bring myself to like a band that bridges political and personal opinion with music.

They're a very visual band. I find I don't enjoy the songs nearly as much without their videos. They always sound fantastic but the riffs are pretty generic, just produced to the nines. I like their camp factor and at least somebody is doing something that's provocative and entertaining. You can definitely tell there's a few Ministry CD's in this bands collection

I think it's pretty fucking hilarious that someone had to point out it was fake

and the level of homophobia in some of the responses is dis-heartening.

that stuff used to bother me too.

i've learned with time that i can like the music without really caring about the political offiliation in most cases. same with friends and the political views they have...not worth losing a friend over.
