Absolutely planned. They were plugged into the same power strip. Plus how could that guy not see that other dude wheeling a giant Marshall stack. He was turned to the side the Marshall was being wheeled in from.

I've seen this numerous times on YouTube and always hated how cheesy it was, and awful the guys amp sounded. I agree with the ice pick comment.
