My nephew invited me to Nashville for a few days. He knows all the players there. Started out with seeing Marcus King on Wednesday. Unbelievable show. Then we spent all day Friday hitting guitar shops. Carter Vintage, Gruhns and the Gibson Garage. Unfortunately my shoulder is fucked up so I didn’t play any of them. Also saw about 10 million dollars worth of ass at Twin Peaks. Lol. The one in Nashville is no joke.
We got to go into all the “ cork sniffer “ rooms. We were in the high dollar room at Carter Vintage and some guy came in with a good looking woman. I didn’t think anything about it. When we left the room he told me “ that was Ella Langley”! I had no idea wtf she was but I guess she’s the biggest thing in Country music right now.

Was a good time. Much needed break from reality after a long year.

I was there two weeks ago. Even the GC there is amazing. I saw a Marshall Club & Country there, tons of Suhrs, Friedmans, Soldanos, Bogners. Lots of great used guitars on the racks too. Gruhn's has a '71 Marshall 1959 that's still sitting there since my first time there three yrs ago. And $3750 isn't a bad price for it. I wonder if it's all original or why it's been sitting for so long.
