I'm looking for a high quality pedal power supply. I don't wanna spend hundreds of dollars but maybe like 200 or so on the higher end. I need 9V and 12V for sure possibly 18V.

There are a mess of 'em out there. A mess of them.

Interestingly enough? Most of the custom boards rendered by the industry's best use VoodooLab power supplies, at least here in North America.

Peace,
Mo

I've tried a few and always had some issues with noise. I use the Voodoo labs PP2 and have had no issues ever. Pretty much the industry standard. This is one of those pieces that is probably not a good thing to cheap out on. If you are running 2 or 3 pedals than you could go with something cheaper.

Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2+ is my go to power supply. Never had any reason to use any other brand of power supply. Works flawlesly, many voltage options, and built like a tank.

Cioks is AWESOME!!!
I was just looking at the Cioks this morning. It is AWESOME! I think I'm going that direction. Anybody else use one, and have anything good or bad to say about it? I was going to go with Voodoo but I need at least 2 high mA outputs (300-400mA's) and I'm also running about 6-8 pedals on it. So I'd have to buy at least 2 Voodoo's to get that done.

Make sure you get one with isolated outputs. I have the T-rex fuel tank jr. and it works great, the Pedal Power stuff is great too. I think the pedal power 2 as previously stated would be the ticket. I got the jr. because of it's super small size and the fact that I only needed a few outputs.

Just ordered a PP2+ myself cause I'm putting together a board with at least one 22V pedal and a couple 18V and the PP2 can handle just about anything from what I've heard. Plus if you use a pedaltrain you can mount it underneath the board and save space.

Voodoo Labs has different models. You might want to give them a call and see what would work best for you. They have the Digital model, the Iso 5 model and a few others that might do what you want. Plus, I think if you just need 2 high outputs, you can use a custom cable and 2 outputs on the PP2. Check with them. There is a reason the majority of touring acts use them.

Gig Rig Generator - very cool modular system.
Thats a BEAST!! I think thats a little too much going on with all the plug ins and what not. Thank guys, but I'm going with the Cioks!

i recently installed a pedal power 2+ into my pedal rig and it's been great

it eliminated the need for the bulky and slightly unconventional 15v power supply for my ethos overdrive, and also reduced a pound of weight and added 4 taps when replacing my valulator with the pp 2+

also the courtesy 3 prong outlet makes it nice to plug my gforce into.

I have the Dunlop one. Never tried others but it suits my needs.
