Looking for 2x12 cab similar to Mesa Roadster Suggestions?

Hey guys I'm looking for a compact 2x12 cabinet with dimensions a close to the Roadster as possible. I'm looking for a cab that the speakers load from the rear. Anything out there well built that I can buy empty to load myself or should I just pick up a roadster and dump the vintage 30's. Not that the vintage 30's aren't good speakers I have another model in mind.

Roadster dimensions are 15 1/4" High 26 3/4" Wide 12 3/4" Deep

Lopoline makes a 2x12 almost exact to those specs. However, they are front loaded. They have super customer service and will do one rear loaded if that's what you need. I had 2 of these cabs and they are great.

i would look for a used Roadster cab and plan on selling the V30s. i've seen those cabs around FS, not as common as the Recto ones but still out there. and the Mesa V30s are still made in England and only available through Mesa, so i bet they would sell quicker and for more than the normal Chinese ones.

I checked out the Lopoline cabs they looked fine, but to make it rear loaded I'm sure the cost would increase to what I could pick up a used roadster cab for. I think new they are 599.00 loaded with the V30's if I remember right.

I think I will keep watching for a roadster as it really is the size I'm looking for.

My brother just brought to my attention the Lopo Convertible cabinet which is rear loaded with a back panel.

Damn! i can't believe I missed that!

Your right troublehead the specs are almost exact! Close enough for me.

I going to have to seriously consider one of these!
