Looking for 4x12 recommendations

FYI,, the Mojotone Grand Canyon 4x12 is basically the same cab as the Bogner 4x12B designwise minus the internal batting added to the Bogner. I have the Avatar version, and to my ears it is very similar to my old Bogner 412B. For me that's a good thing as I loved my old Bogner cab, and missed it from the moment I sold it.
Are you possibly thinking about another cab? Compared to the Bogner 4x12B, the Grand Canyon has some different stuff going on construction wise beyond just the batting. It has different dimensions and a front port.

My Egnater 4x12 is built like a tank. They come stock with T75's and 2 K100's. The K100's are rebranded as Egnater Elite. I want to try V30's in it.

If you have to keep taking the cab apart to tighten the speakers then that’s my point to begin with. Mine are not originals but reissues. The baffles are not thick enough and you need an attached center post.

OP don’t sleep on OG peavey 5150 cabinets. Swap the speakers out to your preferences.
If he doesn't like unscrewing the baffle I'd knock KSR off the list, the 2x12 I've got has a nasty reverberation I haven't had the chance to get an extension bit to unscrew the baffle to attempt to fix yet. (I doubt this is a common issue but just something to keep in mind)

Ngl, of all the cabs I've played, I still like Marshalls the best.

They're definitely not the best made, but there's this toppy quality I really like.

Now I like my 2x EVH, 2x GB 1960AX cab, but I think the bog standard 1960A with the T75s already sound amazing

I can only recommend what I've had for some time:

Mesa Traditional with their V30s
Splawn with their Small Blocks
Avatar with their Hellatones

Dang man that stinks, definitely not a problem I've had in my KSR 2x12. Cab is pretty tight compared to my 4x12 and somewhat directional/focused

I didn't realize they were ported. For some reason I thought I recalled them being the same as my Avatar in dimensions which is built just like my old Bogner. I was going off memory, and guess I mixed it up. I Should have checked before I spoke up.

I guess a Marshall 1960A is pretty foolproof. I been using this one for more than 20 years now and it always works and always has a great sound.

I love the older marshall cabs, not a big fan of the newer ones.

I got a redplate 1960a copy that hit the right vintage specs for me. (bracing)

I would say figure out a sound or style youre looking for, then look for specs after you've narrowed it down.

For more "modern" style cabs, I like KSR's stuff.

Mills and Stoneage both made killer stuff if you can find it.

I'm sure it'll be gone after remounting the baffle (I sent them a message and they told me to do this) but is always nice to let people know it can happen. Also I had to resolder the terminals on the mono/stereo output jack PCB because it stopped switching to mono and only worked in stereo so it'd probably be better to get the mono terminal for reliability.

I’ve heard good things about the Mojotone but never played one.

Fryette FB with Fane F70s is one of my favorites … 2 played together is tough to beat. Only thing I’ve like better is 2 Wizard cabs with Redbacks.

Never been a fan of the EVH cab. Hate the EVH speakers and when I change them out, the cab still doesn’t sound as good as my other cabs with the same speaker combos.

Mine cuts out if I switch amps on my switcher. I likely need to resolder the jack plate. Its a parallel mono but for whatever reason it will cut out and lose all volume after awhile, maybe after the connection warms up a little? Or from volume shaking things up. I swapped speakers so there's a chance it was my fault when removing the back cover

Check atlas cabinet out... wanted to get one few years back but halted due to space constraint....

They are definitely on my list. Especially the oversized 412, just have t seen much feedback on them
I have the tall offset 4x12 from them. Well built, heavy, fairly resonant. Similar to an emperor but with thicker ply. Both can be a bit more finicky with speakers in my experience because they are so much more resonant. Good ordering experience and all that too.

I have an emperor 4x12 I was considering moving along because I kind prefer the atlas and they play in the same space, hit me up if that’s interesting.
