Looking for a Vox combo. So many options.

To reintroduce myself, as I have not been on here a while, but I'm living successfully as a pedalbuilder. All is good, not trying to advertise here and piss anyone off with that, but I'm very capable of electronic work, can obviously solder and read schematics.

That aside.

I want a vox tube combo, I see a lot of different things available, AC10, AC15, AC30, CC, CC2, ect.

My thing is I want it to be something I could work on and not an SMD board that I can't do anything with or still better but at least a solid PCB. I am not trying to extensively mod, just work on if needed.

I need a second demo amp. All I have access to is my Orange AD30 right now, and I want something voxy for demos.

A 1x12 (or 1x10!) is ideal for weight, but I'll bear the weight for the right amp. I don't gig, and now I'm all slop, but I vend pedals at some pop up markets so less to carry is easy. If its a heavy, ill just put casters on. No stress.

I'm looking to either trade for it locally (you know how that goes), or buy used locally in like a month.

The Handwired series is really good IME. Layout looks good and should be easy to work on. I've not spent any time with the circuit board Voxes.

The Vox Showroom website has great and nerdy rundowns of what seems like every Vox amp.

Great to know. I think in the next while I'll snag one.

If a can bag a cheap AC10, do you think it is worthwhile?

You can advertise on here but only within reason. I think that’s why dudes give our YouTube members a hard time because they tend to only post when they do a video and they take it as spam.

I was looking for a Vox and ended up with a Fryette Memphis. Not exactly the same but can ball park the Vox sounds. More modern / Less vintage.
