Sounds like I definitely need to try out a Wizard (besides all the other amps listed of course haha). I will admit I’m in the boat where listening to clips doesn’t make me think they are THE amps like a lot of people here feel, but I trust everyone’s word enough that i need to hear one in person.
Looking at my list and suggestions, I’d also ask anyone have an opinion on ENGL? I was listening to some SE clips and I thought they sounded pretty killer. Also I notic d in general this site definitely loves Friedman, but also they don’t exactly seem like they’d fit that “produced” sound I like?
Most clips are so far from what an amp sounds like in person that I can't imagine relying on them to make a sound purchase. They are fun to listen to, but if your interested in some of these amps, I'd definitely take the input from peoples opinions on here 1000X over any clip on the internet. Bare in mind however, that even then when basing on peoples opinions, they are just that and everyone's tastes differ.
I can tell you that I read peoples opinions on the Wizard amps for about 3-4 years and was extremely skeptical about the hype, but I finally decided to grab one and have to say the hype is 100% real. I won't sit here and say this is the best amp in the world, or that I'll never sell it (Actually thought of selling mine recently to fund some new guitars

), but I will confirm and say they live up to the hype and are as stated: punchy as all get out, open, raw, and very very dynamic. The MCII I have takes OD pedals like a fuckin champ, and can get uber saturated to get you into that more polished sound, but it's still way more raw/organic sounding than most amps out there.
As far as your list suggestions I'd say stick with the Mesa Mark V, KSR, or Diezel because it sounds like your after a more polished sound. Engl delivers a very processed/polished sound, not saying that's a bad thing, I really like Engl amps. They almost sound like the tones you'd hear on an already produced album in a sense. I owned the FB100, Savage 120, Blackmore and have played the Artist edition and Ironball and they all share that "polished" trait. The Artist edition and Blackmore being a touch more organic.
