Hi wondered if someone could give me advice. Would a delay and tremolo work well in front of the brown eye amp or would it be better in the loop? Don't want to have to use my loop if I can get away with not using it. Thanks

Delay is always better in the loop. Why don't you want to use it?

I've heard people claim an amp will feel a little different when using a loop. Also when playing live like to keep things simple as possible. So your saying you'd use the loop for my delay and maybe tremolo pedals? Thanks for the reply.

The loop Friedman uses is completely transparent. You won't notice a difference with it on or off.

yes, put them in the loop for better use of those effects. They will be fine in front of the amp but if you want them firing on all cylinders, so to speak, then slap them in the loop.

Loop for time and modulated effects like delays, etc. Some claim to like it in front of amp...however, in front its going thru both power and pre sections which can really alter the 'feel' of an fx pedal and add unwanted gain and grit.. it won't sound as warm and full as if in loop. In the loop the fx signal comes b4 the preamp tubes and returns after pre and before powertubes... which works better for delays and other modulated fx.

I have a TC Flashback in my loop (parallel) of my Gower Killer Kali++ and I love it. Only effect I use.
