With California being one of the most expensive places to live.. it seems like the best deals on used guitar gear is there :dunno:

Canoga Park ? I wonder if it's near where Mary lived ? :sneaky:

Not at all...just in the valley where a lot o musician live. Quick and easy to get to actually.

Literally a few miles north of the 101 or spitting distance from the 118. While you’re over there, take the Pass to Simi through the Canyon, go to Moorpark and TO, then circle back on the 101 or more canyon drives.
I don’t miss LA but I do miss loving driving and there are lots of fun roads to drive.

The JVM seems to be having a revival lately
definitely picking up some steam...Never thought I would spend as much time playing one (or any other Marshall) as I do...But it's really working for me right now.

It was supposedly going to be the amp that put modders and small companies out of business when it came out according to the cool guys of the forum at the time, I’ve seen a few locally for pretty cheap, I’ve been tempted

So far, it's the best amp I've ever played. I like it better than a Plexi and JCM 800

As I have said here in my post purchase review and a few times since. It's probably not going to satisfy the Plexi, Jose mod or JCM800 purists of the world, but it will get you about 80% there. It also will get you a very good clean sound and an aggressive metal tone without any mods or external boosts.

It's also got the best blues tones I've ever gotten out of an amp.. and without pedals.

Idk I don't want to call it the middle of nowhere but sort of like the Riverside of Los Angeles area, you usually get good deals out there because it's just kind of far from everything and everyone else.
