First it was Randall and now Friedman. How dare you!

Just folks trying out the new flavor of the month...

I think they are badass myself but I have enough amps and cabs at the moment.

Apparently ten amps a week aren't enough. They were built right so grab one now before they turn to shit. Poor George. Allot to read between those lines.

Sorry but did I miss something? I know production is reverting back to CA but didn't see anything else. Please do tell......

Not sure about production on these now , but did anyone else see the Pink Taco in Musicians Friend catalog this week?

What's next ...coming to a Guitar Center near you the Marsha

That's how you make the big money: VOLUME.

This is sad.. I was hoping to get a New Friedman BE-100 with all the new futures this year :( :aww:

Indeed, but I am sure I am not the only one who wonders where this will go if you know what I mean.... :poke:

So if George is no longer building them in Michigan, does that mean they are using barrang?

we use boutique amp distribution to build the amps and Dave personally goes through each one of them.

If I had the cash, I would be all over one myself.

They're pretty cheap here in Detroit. Seems like you can brown eyes all day long for right around the $20 mark, sometimes even cheaper on the east side.

I've heard George no longer builds them & the building is now done by Egnator.

I'm REALLY scared that these models will not be as good as the older models as I am about to get the new 2 channel version of the BE.

Bigger volume = less handle on quality control = a lesser product.

Interesting point. It's can get tricky with high volumes maintaining high quality. I can't imagine Dave having time to go though each one, would be nice though.

Dave is incredibly busy doing mods, pedal, rack work etc, so I can't see him going through a large volume of amps with enough time & detail to fully make sure each amp is 100% to spec.

I hope I'm wrong as the old BEs were the greatest VH type plexi amps ever created imo.

I've seen big volume & big money ruin quality control enough times that I'm genuinely scared for my up coming BE purchase.
