I've been pricing the kramer's just for the hell of it....Gotta admit this thread was the result of your comment in that Star build thread hahah....I’ve toyed with the idea of a Star mutt recently...may have to do it
My fear is that it will be just like the GMW Bullseye I ordered from Lee years ago....it was an awesome idea on the morning I committed to it, three months later when it showed up not so muchI've been pricing the kramer's just for the hell of it....
Same here. He played me Exploder, as we were both heavily into the Shrapnel guys. I still love the production on that, how they have a close mic on the guitar (like micing an acoustic); so you hear the pick attack on the strings. He really had a Gary Moore vibe on that record, but still his own thing.I classmate introduced me to Loudness in 1984 by loaning me the English version of Disillusion - I was hooked instantly, Crazy Doctor, Dream Fantasy, Esper.....great stuff. And Akira's Exploder solo! I saw them opening for Stryper w/ TNT and Akira was a God among men. That 8 finger technique was SICK!
Absolutely. In fact he borrows liberally from Moore's "End Of The World" solo in "Exploder."Same here. He played me Exploder, as we were both heavily into the Shrapnel guys.
